Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Carlos Alberto da Rocha kicked off to start the match. If Zé Pedro Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vitinho de Godoi in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franklin Mineiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dorival França kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. When Therezopolis's Zé Pedro Amorim in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tupiniquins's goalie prevented a goal. After 20 minutes, Vitinho de Godoi made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Tupiniquins's Franklin Mineiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Conrado Zonta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Tolek Bojanowski made a huge save. Conrado Zonta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Tolek Bojanowski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Conrado Zonta came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Tupiniquins fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Zonta couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Therezopolis's zone, Carlos Alberto da Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tolek Bojanowski came out of the goal and Carlos Alberto da Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 41 minutes into the game, when José Augusto Pombal put in a rough tackle. In the 40th minute, one of Therezopolis:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Therezopolis. The Tupiniquins players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Therezopolis were winning 0-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zé Pedro Amorim was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 58 minutes, César Leme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Therezopolis's supporters crossed their fingers, but César Leme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the game, Zé Pedro Amorim recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Franklin Mineiro. Zé Pedro Amorim showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. In the 67th minute, Carlos Alberto da Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute Carlos Alberto da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolek Bojanowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If William Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Zé Pedro Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th match minute, Therezopolis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráusio Carioca to maneuver through the defense. Dráusio Carioca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franklin Mineiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Zé Pedro Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Franklin Mineiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tolek Bojanowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Zonta in the 90th minute of play. William Leite charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed William Leite the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute, Carlos Alberto da Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Therezopolis's Tolek Bojanowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Zonta in the 96th minute of play. The Tupiniquins supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Therezopolis's performance. The match ended with a win for Therezopolis.
