An unexpectedly hard shot by Germano Chaves in the 7th minute of play forced Curutari FC's goalkeeper Aybars Pekdemir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Jacinto Zonta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aybars Pekdemir was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benjamim de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jano Novaes having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Curutari FC's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Chaves came free, but Aybars Pekdemir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jano Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamim de Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamim de Carvalho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jano Novaes having to make a save. Yan de Lima blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jano Novaes having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Yan de Lima kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jano Novaes. That made the score 2-1 in the 39 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Duda Luz during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Juatuba AD booed when Curutari FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duda Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 44 played minutes, Juatuba AD's Mauro Tasso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aybars Pekdemir came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Juatuba AD reached it. In the 47th minute, Cássio Mineiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Curutari FC's Gernando Capixaba was substituted for Yan de Lima. The supporters of Curutari FC booed when Juatuba AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Mineiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 49 minutes into the match, Curutari FC's Vicente de Castro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gernando Capixaba to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Raí Félix recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aybars Pekdemir. Raí Félix showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. 58 minutes into the match, Curutari FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Zonta came free, but Aybars Pekdemir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Gernando Capixaba made a precise shot to the right of Jano Novaes. Juatuba AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in Juatuba AD's zone, Gernando Capixaba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jano Novaes came out of the goal and Gernando Capixaba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute, Rafinha Prata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Raí Félix came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Juatuba AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raí Félix couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Juatuba AD's goalkeeper Jano Novaes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 73 minutes Juatuba AD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vicente de Castro who took care of the corner kick. In the 80thth minute of the game Jacinto Zonta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curutari FC's Aybars Pekdemir was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Benjamim de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aybars Pekdemir made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Germano Chaves sent off a good shot on target. 88 minutes into the game, Cássio Mineiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juatuba AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curutari FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Juatuba AD fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! Germano Chaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Aybars Pekdemir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 100 minutes into the match, Curutari FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Zonta came free, but Aybars Pekdemir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Curutari FC fully deserved thier win.
