Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Luís Machado in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fred Fontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualter Lima in the 15th minute of play forced Verdadeiros's goalkeeper Sebastião Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Eduardo Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Sebastião Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Severino Breckenfeld made a precise shot to the right of Fred Fontes. ɢɛʀѳʜʋʍʍєℓs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Luiz Eduardo Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severino Breckenfeld got free with Fred Fontes in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
