After 13 played minutes Tayio Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Emerson de Godoi. When Alexandre Magalhães came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Alyatan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Magalhães couldn't finish the play. Tayio Esporte Clube's Luciano Tróia pulled a muscle in his back after 27 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Walmyr Donato charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walmyr Donato the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Walmyr Donato kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 29 minutes, Olívio Salles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tayio Esporte Clube and the Alyatan FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tayio Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Olívio Salles hit a great ball. Jonathan Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dorival Secco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Walmir Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Alexandre Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alyatan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre Magalhães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexsandro Tasso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ramos's late challenge caught a Tayio Esporte Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Ramos helped the player get up and apologised. After 37 played minutes Alyatan FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Ramos. Tayio Esporte Clube's Alexsandro Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Ramos in the 46th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dorival Secco to strike the kick off in the second half. 61 minutes into the match, Alyatan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dorival Secco came free, but Walmir Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 63 minutes, Alexandre Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alyatan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Magalhães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexsandro Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmyr Donato in the 66th minute of play. After 67 minutes, Cléber Donato mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tayio Esporte Clube and the Alyatan FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tayio Esporte Clube's Cléber Donato got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Alyatan FC's Jonathan Ramos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alexsandro Tasso. Alexsandro Tasso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Alexandre Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Tasso having to interfere. Walmyr Donato was shown his second yellow card after 73 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 74 played minutes Alyatan FC got a freekick which was hit by Walmyr Donato. If Dorival Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 played minutes Alyatan FC got a freekick which was hit by Perivaldo Barral. In the 81st match minute, Alyatan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kauan Cunha to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Tayio Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Alexsandro Tasso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandre Magalhães. If Alexandre Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Perivaldo Barral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Walmir Gaspar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorival Secco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Alyatan FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
