When Dráusio Massa came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Ibipeba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dráusio Massa couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, pLaYbOyS PaRaenses's Kiko Trancoso got control of the ball when Benjamin Mineiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sandro Lago charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandro Lago the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 minutes, Cristiano Carneiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ibipeba and the pLaYbOyS PaRaenses players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Ibipeba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. Ibipeba's Tarcisio Trancoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Célio Santana in the 30th minute of play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in pLaYbOyS PaRaenses reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Benjamin Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibipeba's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Mineiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kiko Trancoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Doriva Meireles's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, Kiko Trancoso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gino Garcia was the one to do the kick off. Gino Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ibipeba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Mineiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Célio Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Tarcisio Trancoso managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when pLaYbOyS PaRaenses's Célio Santana fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Célio Santana in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tarcisio Trancoso saved Ibipeba from getting behind. In the 97th minute, Frédson de Medeiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ibipeba's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
