The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Edmílson Garcia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mateus Leite. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. A collision led to Da Vinci FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Albertinho Catarinense hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Edmílson Garcia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Mateus Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Ruy Machado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomás Palmeira was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Da Vinci FC's Tomás Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruy Machado in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of Pardiuva booed when Da Vinci FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Tande didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Pardiuva's Ruy Machado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomás Palmeira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Mateus Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmílson Garcia to make the kick off. In the 57th minute, Natanael Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruy Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Palmeira having to interfere. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Da Vinci FC's goalkeeper Tomás Palmeira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Francisco Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute Edmílson Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateus Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmílson Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateus Leite having to interfere. In the 71st minute Mateus Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Palmeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Mateus Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmílson Garcia in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateus Leite saved Pardiuva from getting behind. A collision led to Da Vinci FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Luiz Gustavo Albuquerque hit a great ball. In the 82nd match minute, Pardiuva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafinha de Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Corrêa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateus Leite having to interfere. Francisco Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruy Machado got free with Tomás Palmeira in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Da Vinci FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rafinha de Andrade was slow to take the kick. During this time Pardiuva's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Rafinha de Andrade got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tomás Palmeira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mateus Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mateus Leite came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Da Vinci FC's Francisco Corrêa. But to his dismay, Francisco Corrêa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.
