The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ruy Machado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Carlos Sarmento having to make a save. João Carlos Sarmento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateus Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 11th minute of the match Alfredo Vides sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but João Carlos Sarmento skillfully saved the ball. Ruy Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ruy Machado came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Pardiuva fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruy Machado couldn't finish the play. Mateus Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Carlos Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateus Moura in the 20th minute of play. Vágner Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Ruy Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Carlos Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Pardiuva's Mateus Leite got control of the ball when Joélson Meira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Outeira's João Carlos Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruy Machado in the 30th minute of play. João Carlos Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruy Machado in the 39th minute of play. With a little luck, Pardiuva's Mateus Leite got control of the ball when Joélson Meira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mateus Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mateus Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. João Carlos Sarmento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Paulo Eger during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pardiuva's José Paulo Eger got a free kick in the 51st minute. If Mateus Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateus Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. João Carlos Sarmento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruy Machados short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got João Carlos Sarmento to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Ruy Machado came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Pardiuva fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruy Machado couldn't finish the play. If Mateus Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Pardiuva's Mateus Moura dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Joélson Meira hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After 79 played minutes Outeira got a freekick which was hit by Vágner Pimenta. 83 minutes into the game, Mateus Moura recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of João Carlos Sarmento. Mateus Moura showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. João Carlos Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateus Moura in the 86th minute of play. Ruy Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mateus Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Pardiuva left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Outeira.
