Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute Colorado were awarded a corner. Renatinho Velasco went to the cornerflag to take it. Renatinho Velasco made a great header on Colorado's corner, it was just that DEUTSCHBR's Silvinho Silva managed to reach the ball for a save. After 12 minutes of play, Colorado's Sílvio da Silveira made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvinho Silva was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 19 minutes, Sílvio da Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colorado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sílvio da Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Válter Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot. DEUTSCHBR's supporters rose to their feet, but Válter Magalhães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Abraão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 28 minutes, Válter Magalhães mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DEUTSCHBR and the Colorado players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 played minutes DEUTSCHBR got a freekick which was hit by Válter Magalhães. When Sílvio da Silveira came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Colorado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sílvio da Silveira couldn't finish the play. Marcelo Abraão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Téo Cardozo in the 34th minute of play. Sílvio da Silveira might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvinho Silva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sílvio da Silveira ran back to his position shaking his head. 39 minutes into the match, Colorado's Enrique de Alcântara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvinho Silva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Renatinho Velasco charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renatinho Velasco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Téo Cardozo to strike the kick off in the second half. Téo Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. If Téo Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Abraão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Cardozo in the 81st minute of the match. Artur Neiva hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Colorado's Marcelo Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válter Magalhães in the 83rd minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, DEUTSCHBR's goalkeeper Silvinho Silva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique de Alcântara. After 89 played minutes Colorado got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio da Silveira. Válter Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Abraão having to interfere. Colorado were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over DEUTSCHBR's much stronger midfield.
