Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Manfredo Valladares took the kick off in the first half of the match. Basuca SS's Rodriguinho Paes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfredo Valladares in the 4th minute of play. Manfredo Valladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duarte da Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manfredo Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodriguinho Paes having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Basuca SS's goal looked a bit too open when Manfredo Valladares came free, but Rodriguinho Paes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 13 minutes, Manfredo Valladares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itumirim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manfredo Valladares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agnaldo Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the game, Manfredo Valladares recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rodriguinho Paes. Manfredo Valladares showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilmar Luz in the 26th minute of play forced Itumirim's goalkeeper Elias Gonçalves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basuca SS's Rodriguinho Paes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Basuca SS from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Basuca SS booed when Itumirim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernandinho Quadros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elias Gonçalves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cauã da Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 played minutes Manfredo Valladares rounded Basuca SS's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Duarte da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Rodriguinho Paes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Itumirim's goal looked a bit too open when Nilmar Luz came free, but Elias Gonçalves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nilmar Luz was the one to do the kick off. Basuca SS's Rodriguinho Paes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte da Silva in the 52nd minute of play. If Manfredo Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Basuca SS's zone, Duarte da Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodriguinho Paes came out of the goal and Duarte da Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Duarte da Silva struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Rodriguinho Paes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itumirim. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Manfredo Valladares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itumirim's supporters rose to their feet, but Manfredo Valladares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodriguinho Paes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute, Duarte da Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodriguinho Paes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Itumirim's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nilmar Luz 67 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. In the 84th minute Manfredo Valladares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho Paes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Gonçalves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agnaldo Magalhães went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Beto de Brito hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. João Pedro Nascimento hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The long shot by Beto de Brito in the 92nd minute really tested Elias Gonçalves's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. There was no doubt that Itumirim were the better team. Itumirim's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
