Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Faustão Furtado kicked off to start the match. Eugênio Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Lara having to interfere. Silvério Passos took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severino Lara. Severino Lara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of FERTIFLORA FC booed when Engasgo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeca Cosme didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustão Furtado in the 16th minute of play forced Engasgo FC's goalkeeper Severino Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvério Passos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Severino Lara having to make a save. Severino Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustão Furtado in the 21st minute of play. Faustão Furtado struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Severino Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FERTIFLORA FC. In the 29th minute, Afonsinho Quaresma left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Engasgo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Severino Lara came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by FERTIFLORA FC's Faustão Furtado. But to his dismay, Faustão Furtado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Faustão Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severino Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeu Peres in the 39th minute of play. FERTIFLORA FC's Faustão Furtado got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Mário Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateus Zanette having to interfere. If Afonsinho Quaresma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 64 in the game by Faustão Furtado from a close distance when the talented Severino Lara managed to make a qualified save. Engasgo FC's players were relieved. Severino Lara acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 74th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Luciano de Azevedo. Severino Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugênio Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeca Cosme hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Mateus Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonsinho Quaresma in the 86th minute of play. FERTIFLORA FC's Faustão Furtado came free and shot a quick shot against goal 90 minutes in the game, fortunately Severino Lara had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 92ndth minute of the game Faustão Furtado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Engasgo FC's Severino Lara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sílvio Luiz Paraíba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FERTIFLORA FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
