Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Wágner de Barros made the kick off which started today's match. With a little luck, Acarahu FC's Ivo Dias got control of the ball when Eugênio Domingues tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Sílvio Luiz Paraíba managed to get in a good position for a shot. FERTIFLORA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sílvio Luiz Paraíba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivo Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Acarahu FC's Paulo Lopes got a free kick in the 11th minute. Faustão Furtado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Ivo Dias when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Acarahu FC booed when FERTIFLORA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeu Peres didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Eugênio Domingues recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ivo Dias. Eugênio Domingues showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Wágner de Barros came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Acarahu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wágner de Barros couldn't finish the play. Mateus Zanette didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sérgio Couto went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Dagoberto Pires's late challenge caught a FERTIFLORA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dagoberto Pires helped the player get up and apologised. After 30 played minutes Acarahu FC got a freekick which was hit by Dagoberto Pires. The audience was convinced that Faustão Furtado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivo Dias was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Ivo Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustão Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute of the match, Faustão Furtado tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ivo Dias saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Eugênio Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Faustão Furtado to make the kick off. Silvério Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Mateus Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 59 minutes into the game, FERTIFLORA FC's Faustão Furtado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivo Dias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Acarahu FC's Paulo Lopes got a free kick in the 61st minute. Ivo Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugênio Domingues in the 64th minute of the match. When Eugênio Domingues came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the FERTIFLORA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugênio Domingues couldn't finish the play. After having played for 69 minutes, Wágner de Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Acarahu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wágner de Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 77 minutes into the game, Eugênio Domingues cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Ivo Dias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 82 played minutes Acarahu FC got a freekick which was hit by Nildo Rossi. Ivo Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeu Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raphael Zonta in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivo Dias saved Acarahu FC from getting behind. 93 minutes into the match, Faustão Furtado notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Acarahu FC's Ivo Dias. Ivo Dias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the FERTIFLORA FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
