Despite this André Luiz Gaspar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dário Meirelles during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 43 minutes into the match, Buarque EC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Renato Freire came free, but André Luiz Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Reynaldo Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Luiz Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Osvaldo de Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 49th minute, Reynaldo Félix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reynaldo Félix was the one to do the kick off. 100 CHANCE's Reynaldo Félix got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulo Renato Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. André Luiz Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Luiz Gaspar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reynaldo Félix's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Félix in the 66th minute of play forced Buarque EC's goalkeeper André Luiz Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute Reynaldo Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Luiz Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute of the match, Paulo Renato Freire got a very nice opportunity to score, but André Luiz Gaspar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to 100 CHANCE getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Joaquim Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dário Meirelles in the 83rd minute of the match. 88 minutes into the game, Henrique Breckenfeld was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 100 CHANCE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buarque EC the free kick. In the 93rd minute, Henrique Breckenfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 96 minutes, Paulo Renato Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 100 CHANCE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Renato Freire was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 100 CHANCE played a much better game than Buarque EC and deserved their victory. The Buarque EC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
