Zé Paulo Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Fantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Adelino Secco made a precise shot to the right of Márcio Passos. Greenpig's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Mauro do Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Sails's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro do Valle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Márcio Passos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Greenpig's Márcio Passos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doni Teixeira in the 43rd minute of play. Cláudio Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Cristiano Loureiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Márcio Passos. Greenpig's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudinei Fantini to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doni Teixeira in the 56th minute of play forced Greenpig's goalkeeper Márcio Passos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Greenpig's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinei Fantini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Greenpig's goal looked a bit too open when Doni Teixeira came free, but Márcio Passos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Márcio Passos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doni Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 minutes of play, Black Sails's Adelino Secco made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. With a little luck, Greenpig's Márcio Passos got control of the ball when Adelino Secco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristiano Loureiro's late challenge caught a Greenpig's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristiano Loureiro helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of Black Sails:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Greenpig:s goal.
