With a couple of smart ball manuevers Túlio Trancoso in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Gustavo Vander saved Caiteuara SC from getting behind. In the 13th minute, Edu Félix made a precise shot to the right of Chicão Vieira. Pratapolis SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Osvaldo Sabóia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th match minute, Caiteuara SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erivaldo Massa to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Betão Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pratapolis SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Betão Mineiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Gustavo Vander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Osvaldo Sabóia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chicão Vieira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Edu Félix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Caiteuara SC's Raúl Hoffmann got a free kick in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Túlio Trancoso in the 41st minute of play forced Caiteuara SC's goalkeeper Luiz Gustavo Vander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Túlio Trancoso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Gustavo Vander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Betão Mineiros short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Luiz Gustavo Vander to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Edu Félix fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caiteuara SC's protests and gave Edu Félix a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pratapolis SS booed when Caiteuara SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edu Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Túlio Trancoso to make the kick off. Edu Félix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Chicão Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chicão Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu Félix in the 57th minute of play. After 63 minutes of play, Caiteuara SC's Osvaldo Sabóia made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chicão Vieira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edu Félix was shown his second yellow card after 71 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 77th minute, Enéas de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raúl Hoffmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Chicão Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Gustavo Vander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Betão Mineiro in the 96th minute of the match. The Pratapolis SS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Caiteuara SC's performance. The match ended with a win for Caiteuara SC.
