The referee ignored CA Triângulo Mineiro's protests and gave Moisés Botelho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute, Moisés Botelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. One of Rockers FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CA Triângulo Mineiro:s goal. The referee gave CA Triângulo Mineiro a penalty, 94 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Valdemar Bezerra, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rockers FC's César Chaves. 2-1.
