Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Itapirucu FC's Américo Amorim started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Willian Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After 11 minutes of play, Manaós's Kiko Alvarenga made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dagoberto de Azevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Augusto Nunes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valdir Pereira was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Itapirucu FC's Augusto Nunes got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dagoberto de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Augusto Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the game, Francisco Oliveira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dagoberto de Azevedo. Francisco Oliveira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Oliveira was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Itapirucu FC's Betinho Nascimento got a free kick in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Francisco Oliveira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dagoberto de Azevedo. Itapirucu FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Oliveira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 67th match minute, Manaós was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josué Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. Dagoberto de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kiko Alvarenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valdir Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Américo Amorim in the 74th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, Francisco Oliveira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Dagoberto de Azevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Kiko Alvarenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdir Pereira having to interfere. Valdir Pereira made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Augusto Nunes sent off a good shot on target. Kiko Alvarenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Dagoberto de Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Francisco Oliveira notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Itapirucu FC's Dagoberto de Azevedo. Dagoberto de Azevedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Manaós had won after a very even match.
