The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Matías de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Vides in the 32nd minute of the match. If Donato Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donato Vides made a kick off. 0-1 became the score in the 52nd minute when Donato Vides elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. José Vítor Britto took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matías de Toledo. The referee ignored Talvez Venceremos FC's protests and gave Donato Vides a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, Donato Vides hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Vítor Britto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matías de Toledo having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donato Vides in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matías de Toledo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 72 minutes into the match, Saudades's goalkeeper Matías de Toledo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michel Arósio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nando Brasil in the 73rd minute of play forced Talvez Venceremos FC's goalkeeper Ademir Recife to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matías de Toledo having to interfere. Edmílson Matorin lost his temper 82 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Talvez Venceremos FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Saudades:s goal. In the 84th minute there was a penalty for Saudades. Duarte Peixoto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ademir Recife. 1-2. In the 89th minute, Nando Brasil made a precise shot to the right of Ademir Recife. Talvez Venceremos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 94 minutes into the match, Saudades's goalkeeper Matías de Toledo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Vítor Britto. Despite being the better team, Talvez Venceremos FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
