Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Júnior Moraes took the kick off in the first half of the match. Nestor Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Gerson Pena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdo de Queirós hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Cláudio Sarmento sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Saue EC's Gerson Pena didn't even have to move. 15 minutes into the game, Saue EC's José Vítor Gonçalves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ademir Tasso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 18th match minute, Saue EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zézinho Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. If Júnior Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Saue EC's Gerson Pena got control of the ball when Nestor Alcântara tried to sneak it across the goal line. José Vítor Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Vítor Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ademir Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Edmílson Linares fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saue EC's protests and gave Edmílson Linares a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Saue EC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Edmílson Linares hit a great ball. Gerson Pena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Moraes in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to Juraraita getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Cláudio Sarmento hit a great ball. Gerson Pena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júnior Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Nestor Alcântara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Gerson Pena made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Vânderson Alagoano made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Nestor Alcântara put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gerson Pena. Simão Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerson Pena having to interfere. 58 minutes into the game, Simão Cerezo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juraraita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saue EC the free kick. After 58 played minutes Juraraita got a freekick which was hit by Simão Cerezo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vânderson Alagoano in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ademir Tasso saved Juraraita from getting behind. After 61st play minutes Júnior Moraes shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Gerson Pena and just under the crossbar into goal. If Nestor Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Saue EC defense, Júnior Moraes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerson Pena. The Saue EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerson Pena should have stopped the shot. Gerson Pena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After having played for 75 minutes, Júnior Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juraraita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Júnior Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Júnior Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Saue EC booed when Juraraita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fernando Paranaense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ademir Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vânderson Alagoano in the 87th minute of the match. José Vítor Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademir Tasso having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Juraraita players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
