Moisés Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Loureiro having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronaldo do Nascimento during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Paru getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ronaldo do Nascimento hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Moisés Hermes made a precise shot to the right of Cristiano Loureiro. Paru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Chiquinho Sousa's late challenge caught a Paru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Marechal - FDFDF's goalkeeper César Aguiar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dieguinho Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Cristiano Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moisés Hermes took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristiano Loureiro. Cristiano Loureiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. When the match was over Atlético Marechal - FDFDF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Paru throughout the match.
