When Célio Corrêa fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salao's protests and gave Célio Corrêa a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Salao:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Capivary EC:s goal. In the 17th minute, Mathias Eger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Salao's Kléber da Cunha got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Capivary EC's zone, Mathias Eger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Deivid de Sousa came out of the goal and Mathias Eger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aníbal Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Deivid de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Gildo de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Capivary EC's goalkeeper Deivid de Sousa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Michel da Rocha charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michel da Rocha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
