Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tiaguinho Seco started the match with the kick off. Cláudio Dionísio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murillo Veloso having to interfere. Iuri Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiaguinho Seco in the 5th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Tiaguinho Seco notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cruxeiro AD's Iuri Romero. Iuri Romero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 12th minute, Cruxeiro AD's Vágner Dionísio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Murillo Veloso. Murillo Veloso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Iuri Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Eduardo Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Vágner Dionísio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cruxeiro AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Murillo Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vágner Dionísio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Murillo Veloso came out and tried to block the shot, but Vágner Dionísio slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute, Vágner Dionísio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cruxeiro AD's Vágner Dionísio in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ibitiguaia's goalie prevented a goal. Ibitiguaia's Murillo Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vágner Dionísio in the 36th minute of play. Murillo Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vágner Dionísio in the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Cláudio Dionísio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Murillo Veloso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Vágner Dionísio came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Cruxeiro AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vágner Dionísio couldn't finish the play. Vágner Dionísio struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Murillo Veloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cruxeiro AD. Cláudio Dionísio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Murillo Veloso made a huge save.

After a rather tough play, Cruxeiro AD's Tomé Andrade got a free kick in the 55th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Cruxeiro AD's goalkeeper Iuri Romero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cássio Cardoso. In the 62nd match minute, Cruxeiro AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vágner Dionísio to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd match minute, Cruxeiro AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cláudio Dionísio to maneuver through the defense. If Luiz Eduardo Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vágner Dionísio took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Murillo Veloso. Murillo Veloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-3. A collision led to Ibitiguaia getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Erivaldo França hit a great ball. Murillo Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio Dionísio, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Dionísio in the 83rd minute of play forced Ibitiguaia's goalkeeper Murillo Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ibitiguaia's Murillo Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vágner Dionísio in the 84th minute of play. Iuri Romero made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Luiz Eduardo Aguiar sent off a good shot on target. Iuri Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Eduardo Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nico Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cruxeiro AD had won after a very even match.
