Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ihum's Nestor de Sena started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Pedrão Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zé Paulo Brasil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Paulo Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nestor de Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Toledo having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Ovidio's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor de Sena came free, but Paulo Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Nestor de Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor de Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. With a little luck, Ihum's Matías Simão got control of the ball when Felipe Britto tried to sneak it across the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Britto couldn't finish the play. Zé Paulo Brasil struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Paulo Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ihum. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Paulo Brasil in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Toledo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paulo Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor de Sena in the 41st minute of play. Paulo Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ovidio booed when Ihum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor de Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
