Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Star Sports Clube's Luizinho Ribeiro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Star Sports Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafim Paulista to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Carlos Curcio managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Ihum's Zé Paulo Brasil fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 8th minute Luizinho Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Ihum's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Cardoso came free, but Matías Simão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Luizinho Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Magalhães in the 17th minute of play forced Ihum's goalkeeper Matías Simão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Star Sports Clube's Carlos Curcio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo José Antunes in the 19th minute of play. Luizinho Ribeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luizinho Ribeiro in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matías Simão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matías Simão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Cardoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Arnaldo Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 minutes, Luizinho Ribeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Star Sports Clube and the Ihum players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luizinho Ribeiro hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, Star Sports Clube's goalkeeper Carlos Curcio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Paulo Brasil. Nestor de Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Carlos Curcio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Zé Paulo Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Star Sports Clube made a substitution. Arlindo de Queiroz replaced Luizinho Ribeiro. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nestor de Sena stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Romário Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuel Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matías Simão having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, Star Sports Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léo Eger to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Curcio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor de Sena in the 70th minute of play. Chicão Zanette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Matías Simão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chicão Zanette had several of the Ihum's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 76 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Matías Simão as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Chicão Zanette, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 81 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Matías Simão was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Serafim Paulista hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Pedrão Furlan might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Curcio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedrão Furlan ran back to his position shaking his head. The Star Sports Clube players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
