Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fernando de Barros started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SafarijoeSports's goalkeeper Elano Queiroz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Adalberto Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastião Pontes charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastião Pontes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pixaim EC booed when SafarijoeSports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Pontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Sebastião Pontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caco Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pixaim EC's zone, Doni de Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renatinho Ceresso came out of the goal and Doni de Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elano Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elano Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luís Mello in the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Zé Carlos Zilles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elano Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doni de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renatinho Ceresso having to interfere. Elano Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Luís Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Pixaim EC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. André Nascimento hit a great ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Sebastião Pontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SafarijoeSports's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastião Pontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Moisés Jacinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Renatinho Ceresso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doni de Almeida could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Renatinho Ceresso made a huge save. Erasmo Oliveira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renatinho Ceresso having to make a save. Renatinho Ceresso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Moisés Jacinto in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Renatinho Ceresso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The crowd rose to their feet as Pixaim EC's Fernando de Barros slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elano Queiroz. That made the score 0-1 after 52 minutes of play. Renatinho Ceresso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doni de Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After having played for 57 minutes, Sebastião Pontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SafarijoeSports's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastião Pontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Zé Carlos Zilles took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Elano Queiroz to make any attempt to save it. In the 77th minute, Zé Carlos Zilles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elano Queiroz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando de Barros in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elano Queiroz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. André Luís Mello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elano Queiroz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando de Barros in the 95th minute. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Fernando de Barros took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Elano Queiroz to make any attempt to save it. Pixaim EC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over SafarijoeSports's much stronger midfield.
