Sabugueiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SafarijoeSports the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sabugueiro's Elder Santana got a free kick in the 15th minute. Moisés Jacinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Breckenfeld having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Doni de Almeida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel Viana hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Noel Breckenfeld stood somewhat misplaced when Moisés Jacinto came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 33 minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sabugueiro's zone, Sebastião Pontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noel Breckenfeld came out of the goal and Sebastião Pontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Doni de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Breckenfeld having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Doni de Almeida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Sebastião Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Silvinho Antunes charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvinho Antunes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 56 played minutes Sabugueiro got a freekick which was hit by Silvinho Antunes. Noel Breckenfeld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doni de Almeida in the 64th minute of play. After having played for 69 minutes, Gustavo Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SafarijoeSports's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, SafarijoeSports's goal looked a bit too open when Eurico Donato came free, but Elano Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Sebastião Pontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SafarijoeSports's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastião Pontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noel Breckenfeld breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 81 minutes, Sebastião Pontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SafarijoeSports's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastião Pontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastião Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. A collision led to SafarijoeSports getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Sebastião Pontes hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Sabugueiro's Silvinho Antunes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elano Queiroz. That made the score 2-1 after 94 minutes of play. SafarijoeSports walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
