Adrianinho Donato's late challenge caught a Bolhas Brasil FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Murilo Couto as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 18th minute Adrianinho Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murilo Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malhadinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrianinho Donato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murilo Couto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrianinho Donato in the 61st minute of play forced Bolhas Brasil FC's goalkeeper Murilo Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Malhadinho were the better team. Malhadinho's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
