In the 14th minute, Claudinho Gerber reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alan Ortiz. The referee ignored Anjos Da Noite's protests and gave Ambrosio Luix a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute, Ambrosio Luix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arthur Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilson Furlan in the 39th minute of the match. After 40 minutes, Natã Berger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Phoênnyx and the Anjos Da Noite players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Phoênnyx was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natã Berger to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Ambrosio Luix sped through Phoênnyx's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arthur Corrêa. After having played for 45 minutes, Ambrosio Luix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anjos Da Noite's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ambrosio Luix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Phoênnyx's Guto Motta got a free kick in the 46th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Anjos Da Noite's Emanuel Gaur tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Fabiano Pimenta hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudinho Gerber stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Phoênnyx's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Gilson Furlan scored to the left of an out of position Arthur Corrêa, making the score, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geraldo Andrade in the 65th minute of play forced Anjos Da Noite's goalkeeper Alan Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anjos Da Noite's Emanuel Gaur suffered a sore thigh after 77 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 77 minutes of play Phoênnyx's Natã Berger was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Natã Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Eduardo Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alan Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geraldo Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After 85 played minutes Anjos Da Noite got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Luix. In the 86th minute, Geraldo Andrade left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Phoênnyx fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Phoênnyx's Arthur Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilson Furlan in the 90th minute of play. After some careless play in the Anjos Da Noite defense, Geraldo Andrade kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alan Ortiz. The Anjos Da Noite fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alan Ortiz should have stopped the shot.
