Real Parnamirim F.C.'s Leonel Baptista managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mateus Sampaio in the 27 minute of the game. Anselmo da Mata took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clemente Vianna. Clemente Vianna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Clemente Vianna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo da Mata in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Parnamirim F.C.'s goalkeeper Elivélton Prata, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anselmo da Mata to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Anselmo da Mata's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clemente Vianna was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the Real Parnamirim F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
