Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edvaldo Simão started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the FCSB São Bernado SP defense, Claudinho Abraão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Domenico Patout. The FCSB São Bernado SP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domenico Patout should have stopped the shot. In the 9th minute Pedro Luiz Baiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domenico Patout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 10 minutes, Claudinho Abraão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CF Flamengo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinho Abraão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Luiz Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute Edvaldo Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th match minute, CF Flamengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Décio Souza to maneuver through the defense. Victor Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute of the match Luís Fábio de Almeida shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Domenico Patout showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Claudinho Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Victor Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 played minutes FCSB São Bernado SP got a freekick which was hit by Rômulo Montenegro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luiz Baiano in the 34th minute of play forced FCSB São Bernado SP's goalkeeper Domenico Patout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Luiz Baiano in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domenico Patout prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Domenico Patout came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by CF Flamengo's Claudinho Abraão. But to his dismay, Claudinho Abraão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 44th match minute, CF Flamengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo Porto to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Recife got free with Waldir Ortiz in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Domenico Patout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Abraão in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudinho Abraão to make the kick off. Waldir Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Rezende, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Claudinho Abraão was extremely unlucky when he, in the 54th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Edvaldo Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Pedro Luiz Baiano made a precise shot to the right of Domenico Patout. FCSB São Bernado SP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 66th minute of the match CF Flamengo got a corner. FCSB São Bernado SP's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jeremias Bezerra ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Oswaldo Porto managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. With his leg Domenico Patout managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when CF Flamengo's Pedro Luiz Baiano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 72 minutes, Décio Souza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CF Flamengo and the FCSB São Bernado SP players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Décio Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domenico Patout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Abraão, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 77th match minute, CF Flamengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Abraão to maneuver through the defense. Domenico Patout came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by CF Flamengo's Pedro Luiz Baiano. But to his dismay, Pedro Luiz Baiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Claudinho Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 95 minutes, Claudinho Abraão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CF Flamengo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinho Abraão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. CF Flamengo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
