In the 5thth minute of the game Baltazar Guimarães who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lirexus's Jailson Camargo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltazar Guimarães in the 10th minute of play forced Lirexus's goalkeeper Jailson Camargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faustão Cavalcante stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guga Garcia's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. After 26 minutes, Guga Garcia made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Chambivas SC's Faustão Cavalcante tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Edson Lago kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Chambivas SC's Faustão Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Velloso in the 32nd minute of play. Jailson Camargo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Umberto Gerber showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 33 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guga Garcia in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faustão Cavalcante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chambivas SC's Faustão Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guga Garcia in the 40th minute of play. Guga Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chambivas SC's goalkeeper Faustão Cavalcante, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Faustão Cavalcante didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leandro Velloso went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Umberto Gerber made a kick off. If Baltazar Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Lirexus's goal looked a bit too open when Umberto Gerber came free, but Jailson Camargo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramiro Ferreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 64 minutes, Jardel Maranhense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chambivas SC and the Lirexus players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Chambivas SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jardel Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Wiliam Novaes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lirexus's supporters rose to their feet, but Wiliam Novaes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustão Cavalcante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th match minute, Lirexus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamim Simão to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute of the match Samuca Paraíba sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jailson Camargo skillfully saved the ball. After 79 minutes, Cipriano Quintal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chambivas SC and the Lirexus players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lirexus booed when Chambivas SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Quintal didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 80th minute of the match Cipriano Quintal completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cipriano Quintal a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Cipriano Quintal kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Faustão Cavalcante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guga Garcia in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guga Garcia in the 90th minute of play forced Chambivas SC's goalkeeper Faustão Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramiro Ferreira's late challenge caught a Lirexus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramiro Ferreira helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Chambivas SC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ramiro Ferreira hit a great ball. Jailson Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umberto Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. In the 98th minute, Guga Garcia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lirexus walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
