After a rather tough play, Lirexus's Wiliam Novaes got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 15th match minute, Lirexus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edson Lago to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute Edson Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rony Mello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guga Garcia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rony Mello came out and tried to block the shot, but Guga Garcia slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. Wiliam Novaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rony Mello having to interfere. Rony Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guga Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guga Garcia in the 35th minute of play forced Hevelandia SC's goalkeeper Rony Mello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Lirexus booed when Hevelandia SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ademir Moreno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hevelandia SC's Rony Mello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Hevelandia SC from getting a goal against them. Guga Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Rony Mello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Guga Garcia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rony Mello was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Leandro Velloso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lirexus's supporters rose to their feet, but Leandro Velloso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rony Mello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guga Garcia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rony Mello read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to Lirexus getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Leandro Velloso hit a great ball. If Leandro Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 played minutes Lirexus got a freekick which was hit by Wiliam Novaes. 76 minutes into the match, Guga Garcia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rony Mello. Hevelandia SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guga Garcia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 80 minutes into the match, Hevelandia SC's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Velloso came free, but Rony Mello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lirexus's Guga Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 84 minutes into the game, Edson Lago was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lirexus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hevelandia SC the free kick. In the 84th minute, Edson Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 87 played minutes Hevelandia SC got a freekick which was hit by Fred Valadares. Claudinho Meira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rony Mello. Hevelandia SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Leandro Velloso struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Rony Mello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lirexus. Guga Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lirexus's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
