Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 4 played minutes Capinha got a freekick which was hit by Henrique de Senna. In the 5th minute of the match Emílio Saraiva shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcus Vinhas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 6th match minute, Capinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Furlan to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, Capinha's Albertinho Saraiva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredo Guedes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tibúrcio Luz charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tibúrcio Luz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 11 played minutes Malhadinho EC got a freekick which was hit by Tibúrcio Luz. Juninho de Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albertinho Saraiva got free with Alfredo Guedes in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juninho de Azevedo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Alfredo Guedes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 21st minute of the match, Juninho de Azevedo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alfredo Guedes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Alfredo Guedes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juninho de Azevedo in the 23rd minute. Elivélton Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Marcus Vinhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Juninho de Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albertinho Saraiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Guedes having to interfere. After 41 minutes, Emílio Saraiva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malhadinho EC and the Capinha players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emílio Saraiva hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Natã Arruda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albertinho Saraiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juninho de Azevedo to make the kick off. Tibúrcio Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Sandrinho Mumbach managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malhadinho EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandrinho Mumbach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus Vinhas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Capinha's attack was well implemented in the 62nd minute, but when Juninho de Azevedo was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Capinha's Henrique de Senna got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sandrinho Mumbach in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Vinhas saved Capinha from getting behind. Sandrinho Mumbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Marcus Vinhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tibúrcio Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. A collision led to Capinha getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Allan Lopez hit a great ball. If Juninho de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique de Senna in the 75th minute of play. Alfredo Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juninho de Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After having played for 81 minutes, Juninho de Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capinha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juninho de Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henrique de Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
