Enrique Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agnaldo de Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Agnaldo de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Fernandez having to interfere. When Agnaldo de Souza, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 43 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Enrique Fernandez was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 46 minutes into the game, Hugo Matos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Luís Guilherme Paulista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The Ossuna fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Ossuna's Rafinha Nascimento looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ossuna's Giovanni de Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Agnaldo de Souza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Enrique Fernandez. That made the score 1-3 in the 58 minute of play. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cisterna's goalkeeper Enrique Fernandez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Agnaldo de Souza took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Enrique Fernandez to make any attempt to save it. Enrique Fernandez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agnaldo de Souza went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Rafinha Nascimento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Enrique Fernandez made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Matos during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ossuna booed when Cisterna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rafinha Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Ossuna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafinha Nascimento couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute, Claudinei Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Cisterna's zone, Rafinha Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Fernandez came out of the goal and Rafinha Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 97 minutes, Luiz Gustavo Albuquerque mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ossuna and the Cisterna players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ossuna! When the match was over Ossuna could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cisterna throughout the match.
