A wasted opportunity for Portugal SS. 20 minutes into the match, CRIZEIRO-DF's goal looked a bit too open when Vitório Montenegro came free, but Renatinho Ferraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Vitório Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renatinho Ferraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Telmo Toledo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Renatinho Ferraz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Renatinho Ferraz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitório Montenegro in the 27th minute of the match. Allan Costa hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Renatinho Ferraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telmo Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 40th minute, José Pedro Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juarês Faria made a kick off. Umberto Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CRIZEIRO-DF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Portugal SS the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Umberto Cabral kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Renatinho Ferraz. That made the score 1-4 in the 67 minute of play. In the 71st minute, Allan Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 73 minutes of play, Portugal SS's Telmo Toledo made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renatinho Ferraz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlos Fernando Arruda charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
