Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) José Maria Ramos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Amadeu Sanches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cafu da Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hernani Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Amadeu Sanches tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 9 minutes, Juarês Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CRIZEIRO-DF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juarês Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When José Maria Ramos came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Petróleo EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Maria Ramos couldn't finish the play. In the 18th match minute, Petróleo EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Arósio to maneuver through the defense. Amadeu Sanches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juarês Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Maria Ramos hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute of the game, Romário de Queiroz landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 30 minutes, Simão Vaz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Petróleo EC and the CRIZEIRO-DF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd minute of the match Alexsandro Peixoto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amadeu Sanches skillfully saved the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Petróleo EC's José Maria Ramos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Renatinho Ferraz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. José Maria Ramos in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Renatinho Ferraz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Simão Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, CRIZEIRO-DF's Renatinho Ferraz got control of the ball when José Maria Ramos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 43 played minutes Petróleo EC got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Arósio. After the first half CRIZEIRO-DF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Juarês Faria made the kick off in the second half. Dida Koehler tried in the 53rd minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Amadeu Sanches a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 0-2. In the 60th minute, José Pedro Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Maria Ramos in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Renatinho Ferraz saved CRIZEIRO-DF from getting behind. José Maria Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CRIZEIRO-DF's Renatinho Ferraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Carioca in the 66th minute of play. Marcel Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After 72 minutes Petróleo EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alexsandro Peixoto who took care of the corner kick. In the 79th minute, Juarês Faria made a precise shot to the right of Amadeu Sanches. Petróleo EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Claudinho Arósio charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudinho Arósio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 86 played minutes Petróleo EC got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Arósio. José Maria Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match.
