Giovani Rosa charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giovani Rosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Giovani Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Inhangapy's Vítor Nascimento shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 5th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Elivélton Gaspar but with some difficulty. In the 10th minute Léo Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frédson Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute Sandro Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frédson Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Timbosal's zone, Deivid Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elivélton Gaspar came out of the goal and Deivid Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Deivid Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Inhangapy booed when Timbosal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Léo Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Nuno Cardozo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Elivélton Gaspar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Inhangapy defense, Sandro Queiroz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frédson Meira. The Inhangapy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frédson Meira should have stopped the shot. Vicente Campidelis might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frédson Meira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vicente Campidelis ran back to his position shaking his head. Geovanni Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elivélton Gaspar having to interfere. Deivid Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

A collision led to Timbosal getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Nelsinho Borges hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Inhangapy's Fábio Branco tried to score from far away in the 53rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deivid Montenegro in the 54th minute of play forced Timbosal's goalkeeper Elivélton Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deivid Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sidnei de Sena hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Timbosal's Sandro Queiroz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Frédson Meira. Frédson Meira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Frédson Meira made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Zé Roberto Silveira sent off a good shot on target. When Vicente Campidelis, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 76 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Frédson Meira was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Nuno Cardozo might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elivélton Gaspar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nuno Cardozo ran back to his position shaking his head. After 82 minutes of play, Inhangapy's Deivid Montenegro made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elivélton Gaspar was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Sandro Queiroz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frédson Meira was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Sandro Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frédson Meira having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
