Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Giuseppe Tróia took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Giuseppe Tróia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frédson Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giuseppe Tróia in the 7th minute of the match. The supporters of Assacaio booed when Inhangapy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovanni Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nuno Cardozo came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Inhangapy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Cardozo couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Inhangapy getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. João do Nascimento hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deivid Montenegro in the 17th minute of play forced Assacaio's goalkeeper Walmyr Nóbrega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walmyr Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João do Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. If Váldson Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Váldson Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Deivid Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmyr Nóbrega having to interfere. A collision led to Assacaio getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Richard Quaresma hit a great ball. Cido Garcia's late challenge caught a Assacaio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cido Garcia helped the player get up and apologised. Cido Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. If Nuno Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 52nd minute Deivid Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmyr Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frédson Meira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giuseppe Tróia's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. After 60 played minutes Assacaio got a freekick which was hit by Inácio de Andrade. Walmyr Nóbrega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deivid Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Váldson Queirós came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Assacaio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Váldson Queirós couldn't finish the play. Váldson Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Frédson Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frédson Meira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Váldson Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Váldson Queirós struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Frédson Meira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Assacaio. After having played for 88 minutes, Giuseppe Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Assacaio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giuseppe Tróia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Inhangapy players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Assacaio from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
