Thiago Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Yan Moreno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Tande was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Thiago Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yan Moreno in the 24th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Yan Moreno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Silvinho Damião stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciro Madureira's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Thiago Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yan Moreno in the 39th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Ciro Madureira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ciro Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 55th match minute, Florencio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yan Moreno to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Madureira in the 59th minute of play forced Florencio FC's goalkeeper Silvinho Damião to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Florencio FC defense, Ciro Madureira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvinho Damião. The Florencio FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvinho Damião should have stopped the shot. 66 minutes into the match, Florencio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Madureira came free, but Silvinho Damião reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bacaba's Thiago Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan Moreno in the 73rd minute of play. Ciro Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvinho Damião having to interfere. When Gonçalo Vieira fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Florencio FC's protests and gave Gonçalo Vieira a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bacaba booed when Florencio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvinho Damião took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Duda Guedes hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Cristian Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Thiago Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 85 played minutes Bacaba got a freekick which was hit by Dionísio Bastos. Ciro Madureira struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Silvinho Damião didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bacaba. In the 94th minute, Cristian Soeiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Florencio FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. The Florencio FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bacaba's performance. The match ended with a win for Bacaba.
