Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alexsandro Torres got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Marumbi EC's Alexsandro Torres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristiano Romero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 6th match minute, Marumbi EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Quaresma to maneuver through the defense. Alfredinho Saraiva kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Angelo Figueiredo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marionopolis SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marumbi EC the free kick. In the 16th minute, Angelo Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristiano Romero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexsandro Torres in the 18th minute. In the 24th minute Alexsandro Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wellington Ferraz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geovani Vasconcelos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. In the 34thth minute of the game Alfredinho Saraiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marumbi EC's Geovani Vasconcelos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 36th minute, Jeremias Leão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marumbi EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Wellington Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Sílvio Quaresma hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the match, Marionopolis SS's goal looked a bit too open when Alexsandro Torres came free, but Cristiano Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wellington Ferraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovani Vasconcelos having to interfere. Jeremias Leão struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Cristiano Romero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marumbi EC. Joaquim de Carvalho came free with the goalkeeper in the 66th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Geovani Vasconcelos could save by the left post. Marionopolis SS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Angelo Figueiredo in the 68th minute. The corner ended in Angelo Figueiredo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Marumbi EC's Geovani Vasconcelos did a great save. Jerônimo Maia charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jerônimo Maia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jerônimo Maia hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Cristiano Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 76th minute of the match Carlos Eduardo Linhares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Geovani Vasconcelos skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Fabiano Gaspar during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alexsandro Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Cristiano Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcel Souza during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcel Souza hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Cristiano Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Leão in the 85th minute of play. Geovani Vasconcelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wellington Ferraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. If Jeremias Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
