Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Diego Batista got the match started through his kick off. The referee ignored Taboquinho's protests and gave Durvalino Martins a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th match minute, Taboquinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durvalino Martins to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Vito Pombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nelson Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Trancoso in the 16th minute of play. Nelson Castro came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Almfala's Fabrício Trigo. But to his dismay, Fabrício Trigo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Taboquinho's Diego Batista in the 23rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Davi Nóbrega was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Almfala through an amazing save. After 26 played minutes, Taboquinho's Doriva Galvão shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Davi Nóbrega came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Taboquinho reached it. During the 28th minute of the match Durvalino Martins completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Durvalino Martins a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 28th minute, Durvalino Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Taboquinho getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When Taboquinho's Jorginho Lira in 53 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Davi Nóbrega guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Rodrigo Trancoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almfala's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Trancoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nelson Castro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Davi Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorginho Lira, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Rodrigo Trancoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nelson Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrício Trigo in the 66th minute of the match. Hélio Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Taboquinho's Nelson Castro got control of the ball when Rodrigo Trancoso tried to sneak it across the goal line.
