Alfredo Meira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yuri Severo in the 3rd minute. Walmir Barral might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leopoldo Secco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Walmir Barral ran back to his position shaking his head. Mansidao AD's Yuri Severo got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 17 played minutes Guacui SC got a freekick which was hit by Sabino da Rocha. Patrício Bittencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Alfredo Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Patrício Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Márcio Cunha charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alfredo Meira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 26 minutes into the game, Sabino da Rocha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guacui SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mansidao AD the free kick. After 27 played minutes Guacui SC got a freekick which was hit by Sabino da Rocha. Romário Bertassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Secco having to interfere. Yuri Severo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Meira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Patrício Bittencourt kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. When Guacui SC's Walmir Barral in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After having played for 45 minutes, Yuri Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mansidao AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yuri Severo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Sabino da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Walmir Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yuri Severo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mansidao AD's Yuri Severo got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Severo in the 66th minute of play forced Guacui SC's goalkeeper Alfredo Meira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Guacui SC's Nestor Couto got a free kick in the 72nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yuri Severo in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Meira saved Guacui SC from getting behind. Guacui SC's Walmir Barral got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raimundo Sena's late challenge caught a Guacui SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raimundo Sena helped the player get up and apologised. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mansidao AD! After a rather tough play, Guacui SC's Cristóvão Santana got a free kick in the 88th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romário Bertassi got free with Leopoldo Secco in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Guacui SC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
