Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benê Santana started the match with the kick off. Benê Santana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Fernando Meirelles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benê Santana in the 5th minute of the match. Gernando Neto shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After 12 played minutes Prado got a freekick which was hit by Fred de Souza. In the 25th minute, Eduardo Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, Dé Maranhense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz Fernando Meirelles. Prado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dé Maranhense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Anaje's Pedro Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tião Santana in the 33rd minute of play. If Dé Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 45 in the game by Benê Santana from a close distance when the talented Luiz Fernando Meirelles managed to make a qualified save. Prado's players were relieved.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tião Santana was the one to do the kick off. José Vítor Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. When Anaje's Dé Maranhense in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Prado's goalie prevented a goal. After 54 minutes of play, Anaje's Dé Maranhense made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Fernando Meirelles was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 58th minute, Silas Freire reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedro Trigo. The goal made the score 2-1. In the 62nd minute, Tião Santana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dé Maranhense's late challenge caught a Prado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dé Maranhense helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Prado booed when Anaje was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dé Maranhense didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 played minutes Tião Santana rounded Anaje's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. Luiz Fernando Meirelles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dé Maranhense in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of Anaje booed when Prado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cléberson Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dé Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Fernando Meirelles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benê Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Dé Maranhense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luiz Fernando Meirelles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benê Santana in the 89th minute of play. After 94 minutes of play, Anaje's Benê Santana made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Fernando Meirelles was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anaje's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
