Elano Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráuzio Torres in the 30th minute of the match. Tupi SS's Jeferson Pimenta got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tupi SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeferson Pimenta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Tupi SS's Dráuzio Torres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elano Pinho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dráuzio Torres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Elano Pinho made a huge save. In the 63rd play minute Dráuzio Torres came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Elano Pinho. 0-1. The supporters of Ibipeba booed when Tupi SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo de Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faustão Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César Sabóia having to interfere. When Artur Abreu fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ibipeba's protests and gave Artur Abreu a yellow card for diving instead.
