After taking down the ball on Lindo's corner Rui Fernandez fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Juarês Matos quite easily take care of the ball. Lindo's Alfredão Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Goiano in the 17th minute of play. André Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredão Teles having to interfere. Álvaro Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Álvaro Bezerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If André Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredão Teles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of André Goiano's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. André Goiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredão Teles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Bezerra in the 37th minute of play. Alfredão Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Goiano in the 44th minute of the match. Álvaro Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to Corumbaiba FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Róbson da Silva hit a great ball. André Goiano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Alfredão Teles skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Percival Pimenta's late challenge caught a Corumbaiba FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Percival Pimenta helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th match minute, Lindo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Percival Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. Corumbaiba FC's Dedê Favoretto couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 66th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lindo. Vitinho Martins struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Alfredão Teles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corumbaiba FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amauri Fernandes in the 75th minute of play forced Corumbaiba FC's goalkeeper Juarês Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Álvaro Bezerra received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alfredão Teles came out and tried to block the shot, but Álvaro Bezerra slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 78th minute. Alfredão Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Álvaro Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 83 minutes, Rui Fernandez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lindo and the Corumbaiba FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 85 minutes in the game Vitinho Martins after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Alfredão Teles. A very good opportunity. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Corumbaiba FC's Álvaro Bezerra in the 88th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Alfredão Teles was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Lindo through an amazing save. Alfredão Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Álvaro Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Corumbaiba FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
