Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pedrinho da Costa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Pedrinho da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gildo Cruz having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Edmílson Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tujucue AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmílson Ramos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walmir Paraibano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felipe Paraense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardinho Souto's late challenge caught a Empatacao SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardinho Souto helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Tujucue AD getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ricardinho Souto hit a great ball. Pedrinho da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gildo Cruz having to interfere. Gildo Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho da Costa in the 15th minute of play. Tujucue AD's Gildo Cruz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Tujucue AD from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Tujucue AD getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Víktor Alagoano hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Empatacao SS's Marcel Castro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gildo Cruz. That made the score 1-0 after 22 minutes of play. Gernando Alvarenga hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Zacarias Trigo from long distance, 29 minutes into the match, got Gildo Cruz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After having played for 32 minutes, Edmílson Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tujucue AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmílson Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the game, Edmílson Ramos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Walmir Paraibano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Felipe Paraense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Walmir Paraibano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walmir Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Ramos in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Felipe Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmir Paraibano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmílson Ramos was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Edmílson Ramos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Walmir Paraibano. That made the score 1-2 in the 51 minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, Empatacao SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Trigo to maneuver through the defense. Felipe Paraense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmir Paraibano having to interfere. Ricardinho Souto was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 71st match minute, Tujucue AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardinho Souto to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, Tujucue AD's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Mangueira came free, but Gildo Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tujucue AD's Felipe Paraense got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oséias de Carvalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Walmir Paraibano made a huge save. Felipe Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tujucue AD's Gildo Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrinho da Costa in the 87th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Víktor Alagoano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tujucue AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Empatacao SS the free kick. Víktor Alagoano hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After 92 minutes of play, Empatacao SS's Tiago Mangueira made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gildo Cruz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 96th minute Tiago Mangueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gildo Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tujucue AD were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
