Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Osvaldo de Souza kicked off to start the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Albertino Vander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabedelos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albertino Vander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Marques FC's zone, Egídio Saraiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fábio Pirani came out of the goal and Egídio Saraiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Egídio Saraiva in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fábio Pirani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Osvaldo de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marques FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvaldo de Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rony França breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fábio Pirani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Egídio Saraiva went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Fábio Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egídio Saraiva in the 26th minute of play. Egídio Saraiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Pirani having to interfere. In the 33rdth minute of the game Osvaldo de Souza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cabedelos FC's Rony França was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Osvaldo de Souza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rony França was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Dino Mendes's late challenge caught a Cabedelos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dino Mendes helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Marques FC's Dino Mendes got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Egídio Saraiva was the one to do the kick off. Egídio Saraiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Fábio Pirani made a huge save. Marques FC's Fábio Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egídio Saraiva in the 53rd minute of play. Egídio Saraiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Fábio Pirani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cabedelos FC's Betão Ramos was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 56th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Marcus Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Quadros in the 70th minute of play forced Cabedelos FC's goalkeeper Rony França to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osvaldo de Souza might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rony França. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Osvaldo de Souza ran back to his position shaking his head. If Betão Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cabedelos FC's Rony França played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Quadros in the 86th minute of play. Rony França showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo de Souza in the 93rd minute of the match. Fábio Pirani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egídio Saraiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
