Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ibitura SS's Adalberto Vander got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalberto Vander in the 5th minute of play forced Ituacu SS's goalkeeper Agostinho Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Erivaldo Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibitura SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Erivaldo Peres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agostinho Soares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Ituacu SS's zone, Erivaldo Peres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agostinho Soares came out of the goal and Erivaldo Peres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Ituacu SS's Manfredo Rezende got a free kick in the 10th minute. Emílio Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonsinho Souza in the 14th minute of play. Ituacu SS's Agostinho Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adalberto Vander in the 16th minute of play. After having played for 17 minutes, Erivaldo Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibitura SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erivaldo Peres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute, Erivaldo Peres fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Agostinho Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Vander in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 27thth minute of the game Afonsinho Souza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ibitura SS's Emílio Barral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Silvinho de Amorim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ibitura SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ituacu SS the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ibitura SS's Silvinho de Amorim got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute Afonsinho Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Adalberto Vander recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Agostinho Soares. Adalberto Vander showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 36 minutes, Kiko Veiga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ibitura SS and the Ituacu SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th minute, Kiko Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raimundo Vianna made a kick off. Agostinho Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Vander in the 57th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Adalberto Vander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibitura SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Adalberto Vander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agostinho Soares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emílio Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Vianna in the 68th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Raimundo Vianna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Emílio Barral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ituacu SS's Agostinho Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adalberto Vander in the 85th minute of play. If Afonsinho Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonsinho Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
