Dagoberto Costa took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waldemar Damião. Waldemar Damião dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Projeto's Geovanni Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Tróia in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Edu Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Percival Alcântara during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ceveira AD's Percival Alcântara got a free kick in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Projeto's Matías Miranda broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a little luck, Projeto's Geovanni Cruz got control of the ball when Caio Zanette tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cícero de Godoy during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Projeto getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Cícero de Godoy hit a great ball. Caio Zanette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Geovanni Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 23 in the game by Caio Zanette from a close distance when the talented Geovanni Cruz managed to make a qualified save. Projeto's players were relieved. Caio Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Cruz having to interfere. Geovanni Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Tróia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geovanni Cruz made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Caio Zanette sent off a good shot on target. Geovanni Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Tróia, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Vítor Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ceveira AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Vítor Tróia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovanni Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 80 played minutes Ceveira AD got a freekick which was hit by Marco Macedo. In the 83rd minute, Vítor Tróia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ceveira AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Váldson Paranaense's late challenge caught a Projeto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Váldson Paranaense helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ceveira AD's Váldson Paranaense got a free kick in the 97th minute. Waldemar Damião acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 98th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Matías Miranda. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
