Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuca Faria in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nildo Brito saved Despenhado from getting behind. If Arí Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despenhado's Nildo Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arí Prestes in the 13th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Despenhado's goal looked a bit too open when Arí Prestes came free, but Nildo Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nildo Brito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samuca Faria went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Almeida FC's Silvério Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Paranaense in the 23rd minute of play. When Iuri de Lara came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Despenhado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iuri de Lara couldn't finish the play. Iuri de Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Silvério Gerber made a huge save. In the 39th minute, Jonas Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Zanette took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Silvério Gerber. Almeida FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 42nd match minute, Almeida FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Cosme to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuca Faria made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Horácio Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Almeida FC's zone, Iuri de Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvério Gerber came out of the goal and Iuri de Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 59th play minutes Eriberto Paranaense shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Silvério Gerber and just under the crossbar into goal. Almeida FC's Silvério Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iuri de Lara in the 63rd minute of play. Silvério Gerber came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Despenhado's Iuri de Lara. But to his dismay, Iuri de Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The audience was convinced that Iuri de Lara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvério Gerber was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Silvério Gerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iuri de Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Arí Prestes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almeida FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arí Prestes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nildo Brito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nildo Brito was a little too slow when Samuca Faria got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 2-2. Almeida FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
