Tostão Antunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gramame. In the 13th minute Wágner Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tostão Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Cosme hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Célio Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wágner Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tostão Antunes having to interfere. Denílson Passos hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Ricardo de Senna was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Leonel Mello. Virgílio Cearense hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Laudja FC's Doni Prado got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Wágner Coutinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tostão Antunes having to make a save.

The wind increased when Wágner Coutinho made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Laudja FC's Tostão Antunes got control of the ball when Valdir Melo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 54th minute, Wágner Coutinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th match minute, Gramame was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgílio Cearense to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Célio Lara in the 58th minute of play. Wágner Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdir Melo got free with Tostão Antunes in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wágner Coutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Gramame's Denílson Passos got a free kick in the 67th minute. If Ezequiel Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Pinho in the 71st minute of play. After 72 played minutes Laudja FC got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Lopez. 81 minutes into the match, Laudja FC's goalkeeper Tostão Antunes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdir Melo. Valdomiro Zonta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tostão Antunes. Laudja FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Célio Lara in the 84th minute of play forced Gramame's goalkeeper Ricardo de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdir Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Tostão Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ezequiel Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ricardo de Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
